L.R. Marsh Solo Band – An Australian Blues Sensation
Hailing from Brisbane/Meanjin, L.R. Marsh is a talented singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who skillfully captures the heart and soul of early 20th-century delta blues. Armed with raw slide guitar mastery on classic steel resonators and cigar box guitars, he effortlessly bridges the gap between the past and the present. With thunderous foot drum grooves and earth-shaking guitar tones, L.R. Marsh’s on-stage presence demands attention.
A Journey From South Australia to Queensland
Originally from South Australia, L.R. Marsh wrote, produced, and recorded his debut acoustic blues/folk album in his cozy two-bedroom apartment back in 2019. After releasing the album independently, he embarked on a five-month tour to promote his music. The tour concluded in March 2020 when L.R. Marsh found his new home in beautiful Brisbane, Queensland. Since then, he has been honing his sound, preparing for the release of another album in early 2021.
