Never Smile at a Crocodile
Bearded Dragon Boutique Hotel has added a new attraction for residents and visitors with the addition of the "Cranky & Nasty" crocodile and reptile show. Mark Gregory aka "Toadman" teams up with the Bearded Dragon's resident crocodile expert "Crocodile Nick" with this awesome new show every Sunday, Monday & Wednesday at 2pm. Nick explains "We have a very good 'simple' working relationship with the crocodiles, we simply don't trust them"! Visitors are reminded not to be taken in by cranky's friendly grin and get too close for that photo of a lifetime. A variety of friendly and harmless creatures are always on 
display each week with the crowd favourites being "Spike & Dusty" a loving couple of Bearded Dragons and "Julius Squeezer" an attractive olive python. "A group the other week was treated to a scrapbook of photos following Nick's Crocodile career and included a 18foot python in the Kimberlies swallowing a 5 ft kangaroo at the base of a 20mt cliff, every show seems to offer a new experience" says Monique Gregory about Nick's bag of reptile tricks. Shows are Free with "Toadman" requesting a gold coin donation.
"Proceeds from the show go to National Parks & Wildlife, while our canetoad racing every Sunday raises money for Beaudesert Shire Rural Fire Brigades and community groups." says Monique Gregory Marketing & Events Specialist. "Toadman" and the team at the Bearded Dragon are environmentally aware, collecting and humanely disposing of the dirty brown monsters each week. Over 2500 pests were disposed of at last years annual cane toad pesitval and this record is expected to triple at this years environmental cleanup and canetoad awareness weekend. Held the 2nd Weekend in December every year.
