DESCRIPTION:ABOUT THE WET FISH:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Wet Fish started live work 10 years ago and quickly became one of the busiest working bands in SE Qld. We’re set to play our 300th booking in April 2023. We pride ourselves on our individuality and versatility. We’ve played everywhere from small clubs to major outdoor festivals. The band started as an all instrumental act and built a huge repertoire of authentic 60s surf rock (think Wipeout\, Tequila\, Pulp Fiction soundtrack etc). This “beach party” image helped to establish us as a favourite at a huge range of coastal venues\, festivals and events.\nAfter achieving all we could as an instrumental surf act\, we added a whole new repertoire of vocal material in 2019. The new vocal material is diverse and consists of plenty of classic rock and roll\, country and blues (repertoire listed below). Our focus is simple. We aim to play “party music” that is always fun\, upbeat and crowd-pleasing.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe’ve done many major festival slots  including multiple performances at Cooly Rocks On\, Blues On Broadbeach\, Bleach Festival\, Fish Lane Festival\, Brisbane Festival\, Bulimba Festival\, Brisbane BBQ Festival\, Noosa Festival of Surfing and Caxton Seafood Festival.\n\n\nTry our NEW COCKTAILS ON TAP!
