The quartet will play a stunning list of classics, including Handels Arrival of the Queen of Sheba, Bachs Concerto in D Minor for two violins and Schuberts Ave Maria serenade.
All money raised will help the Cultural Foundation support cultural diversity within the region.

One day on the banks of the billabong a very clever dingo caught a wombat and decided to make gooey, brewy, yummy, chewy wombat stew.
This big bonza Aussie musical is based on the book by the same name. First published in 1984, Marcia K Vaughans book has never been out of print. This year marks the 25th anniversary o the publication which has become a modern day classic for thousands of children.

Garry Ginivan Attractions has developed the first major stage adaptation of this story. The production features six actors and incorporates acting, singing, dancing, puppetry and mime.
The performance is suitable to school and pre-school groups and is set to provide laughs and much entertainment.

This revue show sharply spoofs show tunes, characters and plots from contemporary and current Broadway musicals. It mocks popular shows like Cats, Westside Story, The Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables.

Forbidden Broadway sends up major theatre topics like the insane price of tickets, the confusion between Chita Rivera and Rita Moreno and the difficulty of Sondheims lyrics.

The annual Shepherds Walk leaves from the monument in Christmas Creek Rd and enters local properties. It is held in recognition of the Chinese Shepherds and Aboriginal people who died in the Beaudesert district during early settlement. Walkers are bused to Christmas Creek Rd and the local auto club provides lunch. This is a popular event with bushwalking clubs and is always well supported.

Tour of the Scenic Rim 2010 Cycling Event

This two-day cycling event is presented by the Goldstar Cycling Club and has been run with great success for the past two years. The tour provides cyclists from around Queensland and Northern NSW with an opportunity to hone their racing skills ahead of the National Titles, while enjoying the spectacular scenery.
The tour will attract about 250 cyclists who are challenged by the local terrain.
