Chris Cook Country, Bluegrass Rockabilly Band - Sunday 22nd August

Drawing on Australian country and American bluegrass roots, singer and multi-instrumentalist, CHRIS COOK has performed around Australia for over 30 years, both solo and with different line-ups.

Chris has the ability to entertain an audience with guitar, banjo, fiddle, original songs (his Diggin a Hole and others were recorded by Slim Dusty) and a seemingly limitless repertoire of covers both popular and obscure prove his versatility.

Chris has played at most major East Coast Festivals and has made a number of recordings over the years. He has released a number of albums, including a Tribute to Slim Dusty called Dustier than Ever.

His latest album Now and Then is a retrospective of 30 years in the recording industry.

Chris is both well-known and well-respected around the Northern Rivers region of NSW where he has been based in recent years.
